Waste Collection Provider: Direct Waste Solutions

Direct Waste Solutions is the District’s waste collection provider.

Service days are Wednesday and Saturday with recycle collection on Saturday.

Regular household waste is collected Wednesday and Saturday at the curb. Please have waste out at the curb by 7:00 am on each collection day. Waste is collected in resident supplied waste containers or bags between 30 to 50 gallons in size and weighing no more than 40lbs each item. Excluded items from regular collection are dirt, rocks, bricks, tile, concrete, tires, batteries, motor oil, waste generated by a private contractor, or any materials/ items deemed as hazardous materials.

Heavy Trash day is every Saturday and is only collected on Saturday.

Yard waste such as trees, shrubs, brush trimmings, and fencing must be no longer than 4 inches in diameter, no more than 4 feet long, tied in bundles not exceeding 40 pounds. Items such as appliances, furniture, mattresses, limited amounts of carpet (tied and bundled) are collected on both service days. Refrigerators, freezers and any other items containing Freon must be drained and tagged by a licensed technician before being collected.

Recycling is collected on Saturday.

Acceptable recycle materials include all paper, newspaper, cardboard, aluminum cans, glass, and plastic. Recycling materials are collected from the curbside. All recycle bins provided to residents are the property of Direct Waste Solutions. Residents are responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged bins. Residents will be charged a fee for replacement recycle bins.

The following holidays are observed by the contractor: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Independence Day (4th of July). Any collection that would normally be scheduled on a holiday will be suspended and resumed the next scheduled service day.
