PARKWAY UTILITY DISTRICT MINUTES OF WORKSHOP MEETING
SEPTEMBER 14, 2017
The Board of Directors (the “Board” or “Directors”) of Parkway Utility District (the “District”) met in workshop session, at 6:00 p.m., at the District’s office located at 12843 Tidwell Road, Houston, Texas, on Thursday, September 14, 2017, pursuant to notice of said meeting posted in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code; whereupon the roll was called of the members of the Board, to-wit:
Brenda McNeil – President
Alphonso P. Rettig, Jr. – Vice President
Jennifer Balderas – Secretary
Ron Everhart – Assistant Secretary
Gloria M. Woods – Director
All members of the Board were present, except for Directors Balderas and Everhart. Also attending were Gary Syzek, System Projects Manager; Deputy Terry Ganey of the Harris County Constable’s Office, Precinct No. 3 (the “Constable”); and all persons listed on the attached Attendance Roster.
Mr. Syzek welcomed everyone to the meeting and explained that the meeting was being held outside the District Administration Building since the building had experienced flooding due to Hurricane Harvey (the “Hurricane”). Mr. Syzek went on to describe the impact of the Hurricane on the community.
Mr. Syzek next discussed the new Facebook Crime Watch page which was changed because of an overabundance of applicants from other cities and states resulting in difficulties in running the site. The title has been changed to “Community Crime Watch 77044.”
Mr. Syzek provided a list of FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers which are referenced in his report.
Patrol Report
Deputy Ganey provided the Patrol Report.
OCTOBER MEETING DATE
Mr. Syzek informed those in attendance that the October crime watch workshop meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD, the meeting was adjourned.
