PARKWAY UTILITY DISTRICT MINUTES OF WORKSHOP MEETING
FEBRUARY 8, 2018
The Board of Directors (the “Board” or “Directors”) of Parkway Utility District (the “District”) met in workshop session, at 6:00 p.m., at the District’s office located at 12843 Tidwell Road, Houston, Texas, on Thursday, February 8, 2018, pursuant to notice of said meeting posted in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code; whereupon the roll was called of the members of the Board, to-wit:
Brenda McNeil – President
Alphonso P. Rettig, Jr. – Vice President
Jennifer Balderas – Secretary
Ron Everhart – Assistant Secretary
Gloria M. Woods – Director
All members of the Board were present, except for Director Woods. Also attending were Gary Syzek of System Projects Manager; Deputy Terry Ganey of the Harris County Constable’s Office, Precinct 3; and all persons listed on the attached Attendance Roster.
Mr. Syzek first reminded those in attendance about the upcoming ribbon cutting ceremony on March 8, 2018, which is being held to recognize those responsible for installation of traffic signals at the intersections of Tidwell Road and Deep Valley Lane and Tidwell Road and Van Hut Lane. Mr. Syzek also discussed the measures being investigated to address excessive speeding along the Beltway 8 corridor and additional traffic signals along such corridor.
PARK BOND ELECTION.
Mr. Syzek next reported that the District continues to discuss plans for parks in the District and funding of such parks through a park bond election to be held in November 2018.
PATROL REPORT.
Deputy Ganey presented the Patrol Report and responded to questions from those in attendance.
NEXT MEETING DATE.
The next crime watch workshop meeting is currently scheduled for Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS BEFORE THE BOARD, the meeting was adjourned.
