PARKWAY UTILITY DISTRICT AGENDA OF SPECIAL MEETING
OCTOBER 26, 2017
In accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, take notice that the Board of Directors of Parkway Utility District (“Parkway”) will meet in special session, jointly with the Board of Directors of Greenwood Utility District (“Greenwood”), open to the public at Monahan Elementary School, 8901 Deep Valley Drive, Houston, Texas 77044, at 7:00 P.M. on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2017. At this meeting, the Board will consider and/or act upon the following:
1. Consideration of public comments;
2. 2017 Tax Rate:
a. conduct public hearing on 2017 tax rate;
b. adopt Order Setting Rate and Levying Tax for 2017;
c. approve Amended and Restated District Information Form;
d. adopt Order Appointing Tax Assessor/Collector; and
e. adopt Resolution Concerning Tax Collection Procedures;
3. Wastewater Treatment Plant (“WWTP”), including:
a. review status of outfall repairs;
b. approve lease agreement for reserve capacity;
c. discuss process for design of WWTP expansion;
d. discuss budget for fiscal year ending (“FYE”) December 31, 2018;
4. Surface Water Transmission Facilities, including:
a. update on status of site acquisition;
b. discuss process for design of improvements;
c. discuss budget for FYE December 31, 2018;
5. Discuss Harris County Tidwell Road improvements;
6. Discuss Greenwood temporary force main; and
7. Discuss schedule for quarterly joint meetings.
