Survey: Harris County Flood Resilience Plan

Add your voice to the Harris County Flood Resilience Plan!

The project team continues moving the Harris County Flood Resilience Plan (FRP) forward as it prepares to release the plan in early 2027.

The FRP is for all residents in Harris County. To help ensure it reflects the concerns, experiences and priorities related to flood resilience across the county, the project team asks you to complete the COMMUNITY SURVEY.

If you have already completed the community survey, thank you!

Please share the link with your work colleagues, neighbors, friends and family members.

We look forward to receiving more community input through the survey and engaging with you at upcoming meetings. For more information, please visit our website.

Thank you for your support and continued interest in the Harris County Flood Resilience Plan.

Harris County’s First Comprehensive County-Wide Planning Effort to Advance Flood Resilience in the Region

The Flood Resilience Plan is being developed by the Harris County Infrastructure Resilience Team (IRT), an interdepartmental, multidisciplinary team with representatives from the Flood Control District (lead agency), Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Office of the County Engineer, Housing and Community Development, Harris County Public Health, and Harris County Toll Road Authority. The Community Flood Resilience Task Force, a group of individuals representing communities across Harris County, is also helping to develop the Flood Resilience Plan so it meets the diverse needs of residents.
