Community Advisory – Males Posing as Water Company Employees

MMIA, who is the Parkway UD water operator, always has marked vehicles with personnel uniforms that are clearly marked with the MMIA logo. Our operational staff never asks for entry into a home.

Harris County Constable Pct. 3 – Constable Sherman Eagleton:

Earlier today, Pct. 3 Deputies responded to a suspicious person call on Heather Gate Ln. near FM 2100 in Crosby. Dispatch received multiple reports from residents concerned about 3 black males who went to multiple
homes stating they were with the water company and/or a water filtration company, but did not have any visible company identification or company attire. The males were seen traveling in a white Audi sedan and a silver/gray Toyota SUV. Deputies were not able to locate the men but did confirm with the water company that they did not have employees going door to door in the area.

With Christmas quickly approaching, thefts and burglaries increase. We strongly advise our community to be aware of your surroundings, at home, and while shopping. Keep your doors locked, don’t leave packages in vehicles, and don’t allow workers in your home without proper identification.

Remember, if you see something, say something. Our Dispatch is available 24/7 and can be reached at 713-274-2500. Stay safe Pct. 3!

Precautionary Parkway UD Boil Water Notice

A precautionary boil water notice is now in effect in the Houston region until further notice due to multiple power interruptions and reduced water system pressure.

For residents who do not have power to boil water, you are advised to use bottled water for consumption.

Again, please be advised that this is a precautionary (not mandatory) measure.
